There are many different types of carpet and upholstery cleaning on offer from an array of dry cleaning methods to rotary shampooing and the more commonly known steam cleaning just to name a few. It's a lottery for the prospective client. Let's start with a question every cleaner gets asked! what is the best method for cleaning carpets rugs and upholstery? With several decades of experience in cleaning both domestically and commercially and having spent well over £250,000 on all types of equipment all of us working at Aaron cleaners can answer that question honestly and the truth is there's no contest! Truck Mounted Cleaning Beats Them All. How can we be so sure? We have personally tested, or have had demonstrations of all the other carpet cleaning equipment over the years and truck mount equipment out performs them all, As a cleaner there is nothing better one would prefer to work with for cleaning carpets rugs and upholstery. Most of the other operators are using carpet cleaning equipment that uses water in some respect. It is an established fact according to the laws of physics that the combination of adding chemical to the water and then allowing the equipment to increase the temperature of the water will clean the carpets or upholstery being cleaned even better.
That carpets and upholstery can be cleaned effectively using dry cleaning methods is an urban myth. Most of the carpet cleaners offering dry cleaning of carpets and upholstery are still leaving them dirty! Aaron cleaners have personally tried and tested all of the dry cleaning equipment being sold in the uk and found that it does not do what it claims to do clean! Most cleaners using such equipment have bought cleaning franchises, so they have to use the cleaning equipment system supplied to them by the parent company or risk losing their franchise.
An interesting footnote to this is that for many years one of the world's biggest franchise cleaning companies has made the claim that their patented cleaning process leaves carpets cleaner and drier than the hot water extraction process (known as steam-cleaning) used by the majority of other operators. They were wrong on both counts! As every other cleaner who is not a franchisee knows and as many of our clients will state in our carpet rug and upholstery cleaning testimonials. Why is it sometimes called steam cleaning? Well if you heat the water in the machine to a suitable temperature, when the cleaning solution is jetted on to the carpet being cleaned, water vapour rises and this gives the impression that you are spraying out steam. hence the pseudonym steam cleaning of carpets, an expression most cleaners love using.
As a footnote to this, the same company now authorises the use of hot water extraction equipment because their franchisees were losing so much work to the likes of Aaron Cleaners who were using such methods. The clients were voting with their hard earned cash, especially the commercial customers and choosing carpet cleaners that favoured using hot water extraction deep steam cleaning, they could see the difference in the end results.
